LTHR.NL is a non-profit multimedia website centered around the dutch leather scene with focus on Leather Amsterdam. The object of this website is to disclose the history of and to give updates on current events in Leather Amsterdam through text, images and video.

LTHR.NL was not created for the personal benefit of its creator or contributors and is founded on certain principles. LTHR.NL does not want to analyze the Leather lifestyle, it merely wants to document, educate and promote. Furthermore LTHR.NL

Research
All content on LTHR.NL is original and all historical facts were checked before publication. The articles detailing the history of Amsterdam’s leatherscene are based upon research done at the University of Amsterdam, IHLIA/Homodok, The Leather Archives & Museum and through various interviews both in Amsterdam as well as abroad. Due to the fact that leather history has an ‘oral character’ articles can always be updated when new information becomes available.
